Bas Jongtien

Legal Counsel

Bas Jongtien is the senior legal counsel for DOB Equity, he joined the team in 2017. Bas supports the DOB Equity team on all legal aspects of their activities. This includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating the documentation for the investments and divestments, carrying out and managing due diligence investigations, advising on liability aspects of the investments and the team’s board and shareholders positions, and corporate housekeeping.

Bas holds an LLM degree from Utrecht University, and has over 15 years of experience as a lawyer, working as a corporate lawyer for Bosselaar & Strengers Advocaten, and as a legal counsel for adidas. He has a very broad experience in assisting and advising companies in international corporate and financing transactions.

Bas has three children and lives in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
