2025 Year-End Reflections

As we close out 2025, we look back on a year defined by renewed focus, meaningful growth, and stronger partnerships across East Africa. 

This year saw several milestones that moved our work forward: 

• We welcomed new team members who have brought fresh perspectives and energy to the fund. 

• We made new investments across our sustainable food systems and water pillars, including Spouts, FarmWorks, and MazaoHub, reinforcing our commitment to businesses improving everyday lives in low-income communities. 

• We deepened relationships with founders, ecosystem partners and co-investors who share our belief in patient capital and long-term impact. 

• We spent valuable time together as a team, from our annual DOB Week in the Netherlands to our annual DOB Equity board trip, reconnecting, challenging one another, and sharpening our collective direction. 

• Our portfolio continued to progress, marked by resilience, adaptability, and innovation from our entrepreneurs. 

• We also completed exits in three companies this year, cementing our belief in our investment thesis.  

Above all, we remain proud of the entrepreneurs and communities we back. Their commitment to building solutions that matter is what drives everything we do at DOB Equity. 

As the year comes to a close, we wish you and your families a joyful festive season and a well-deserved time to rest and reset.
