Bringing Together Africa’s Private Capital Ecosystem in Nairobi (AVCA 2026)

On the sidelines of the AVCA Conference & VC Summit 2026, DOB Equity joined Acumen Resilient Agriculture Fund (ARAF), KawiSafi Ventures, and Equator to co-host the Africa Private Capital Ecosystem Evening in Nairobi, creating space for conversation, connection, and shared perspectives across the investment ecosystem.

The gathering brought together investors, founders, DFIs, and ecosystem builders for an evening of meaningful engagement around the future of African private capital.

This year’s AVCA theme, “Break the Mold: Reshaping the Future of Africa’s Private Capital,” resonated strongly throughout the week. Across both formal sessions and side conversations, there was a clear focus on mobilizing long-term capital, supporting resilient businesses, and rethinking how local ecosystems are built and strengthened — all critical to unlocking sustainable growth across the continent.
